ACT
ACT Overview
After recently gaining popularity along the east coast and now considered the most popular college entrance exam in the country, the ACT tests students on material associated with the standard high school curriculum. Split up into four sections — English, Math, Reading, and Science — the ACT requires two hours and fifty-five minutes of testing time (the optional writing test requires an additional forty minutes). The ACT states that its scores provide an indicator of "college readiness" and is accepted by all US colleges and universities.
